Need to write more Hyper Local posts

Lanre, thanks for the reminder!  I agree with Susan.  Writing hyper local posts is a great way to gain knowledge about local area communities.  I am concentrating my efforts there as we speak!  Thanks for giving me an extra nudge.

I do a lot of localism posts.  I belong to a lot of organization and am on several boards, so there is always plenty for me to write about.  Its the real estate blogs I not so good at.  I have ideas, but someone on AR seems to beat me to the punch and their post are so well written.

Congratulations on the Feature Lanre!  You're right about the hyperlocal posts. Got to keep 'em coming!

Lanre - we have gotten so many calls related to local events, restaurants and retail stores that we wrote about and we know it works. 

Lanre congrats on having a feature,  Yes the hyper-local blogs are extremely important.

I wrote a blog two years ago about the opening of a new recreation center. I got a call today asking me how long is the pool open? That's my AR post.

I completely agree that local posts are vital. In fact that is what most of my blogs are. I love to share the highlights of our region.

I have been telling myself that I need to write more posts... and more hyper-local posts... for months.  The hard part is actually DOING it.  It's hard sometimes to get off dead-center.

I can see this is definately something I have to learn more about.

I am all for it. A lot of times the info is out there and we can just go and share it in our own way.

Most of my blogs are hyperlocal and I see my content rising in the Google rankings weekly.  It's hard to sustain sometimes as there may not be anything to write about but the more you write, the better.

I definitely need to write more hyper-local posts. Thanks for the reminder and all the links. Great job and congrats on the feature!

Lanre, I read somewhere that Bob Stewart said Hyper local posts are among the highest rated posts inside AR . . for good reason..

Funny, we hear how well they work yet so few of us do them consistently. I am going to make a better effort

Lanre, I am so glad that I ran across this post. I get paralysis in what to write a post about. This is a good reminder that we don't need to split the atom here. Just give people simple yet useful information.

Lanre- congratulations on the Feature and for reminding us that writing Local posts is good for all of us ... and that includes the business.  I need to make the time to get out and take some more photos and gather information on some of the local places here.

This is a perfect suggestion and great information, I agree it's important to do!!!

What you have written is so true. I have started gearing more of my blogs in this direction.
