Hello to All from Northern VA

Thanks for all your great comments guys.  I wanted to tell you how I met a client today who was helping a friend.  This friend is coming from overseas, Japan. So his friend, and my new friend came out today, 30 miles, and probably 2 hrs out of his way to me close to DC to look at some condos to give his friend a good idea of what is available in his price range.  We got to talking about life, and when we spoke about careers he mentioned he was retired military.  I said my hubby was too.  He hugged me and said thank you.  I thought, Wow, what a great friend, a great guy he is, he's military, he was special forces, he's been married 33 years, a son in the special forces, he retired military after serving over 20 years, and he said thanks to me?? I thought I'd share because ever since my hubby got home my eyes just seem so open and the littlest things touch me.  I cried when we parted and sent him an email later that  thanked him for his kind words and meeting with me to view the properties.  Now he's asked for me to come view his property for a CMA and some extra cards for friends and family.  You really never know where life will take you, but it's definitely worth the time to participate in conversations and enjoy life no matter what your circumstances are, I wish I had realized that when Matt was in Iraq, I spent most of my time really mad and terrified!
