Pay it Forward - Veggie Pizza and Brownies
Real estate in Denver has been very busy this summer. Our office at Metro Brokers Marina Square has about 116 agents and we are all very busy dealing with clients. No one seems to have time for much of anything else these days.
It has been a stressful week for me as well. When I get stressed, I back away from the computer and cook. Since I grew up in my parents family restaurant, I know a thing or two about cooking.
Thursday was no exception to the rule. My blood pressure was high and my stress level was over the top. My business partner, Belinda, told me I needed to take a chill pill. Well, I knew I couldn't start with cocktails first thing in the morning and I didn't have any chill pills, so I went to my kitchen and started cooking.
I made two veggie pizzas and a pan of brownies for my office. I got there just before lunchtime and the gals at the front desk were amazed. They were trying to figure out what to have for lunch and I solved their problem.
I went in to the kitchen to take some pictures of the food, but by the time I got there about 15 minutes after the food was set out, it looked like vultures had devoured the food.
I did manage to get a slice of the pizza and a brownie for Belinda, thankfully. She would not have been happy if she was left out of the equation.
Here is a picture from my phone of the remains.
I will blog the recipe for the veggie pizzas - but not the brownies!
