Feature worthy and rebloggable
And I am reblogging this because it is REBLOGGABLE.
Russel ALWAYS helps fellow activerain members out. Just part of his very giving nature.
Russel, are you sure you don't want to move to Arizona? LOL.
Feature worthy and rebloggableIf you didn't see my 11-part series on Google juice, you can read it here: "Would you like a little Google juice? It's good for you!"
Since then I've been looking for another way to pay it forward, more or less, to those people who follow me, subscribe to my blog, leave comments so regularly that I just can't keep up with returning comment for comment....
With so many featured posts lately that discussed reblogging, I thought it would be neat to go through the posts by my followers, subscribers, and commenters and find ten posts each week that are feature worthy and rebloggable. That means that if all your posts are Members Only and not rebloggable, I can't feature you here! I'll start with ten of the people who have left at least ten comments in my blog since May 5, 2011.
Since the ActiveRain system lets us reblog up to ten posts per week for points — admit that you're a points dog! — you can check in here each weekend and immediately find ten posts worthy of reblogging, in my opinion. I'll try to find posts that are not time-specific, that could be rebloggable at any time. If you don't like my choices, well, you can find your own!
- This Left Us Speechless This Sunday, But Motivated For Monday! — by Al and Peggy Cunningham (Brampton, Ontario, Canada) who have a wonderful skill of finding cool things on the Internet that can provide motivation for us all.
- Lending Guidelines Are Just Silly These Days! — by Belinda Spillman (Aurora, Colorado). The title says it all, and it's probably going to get worse before it gets better.
- Warning....You're Being Watched! — by Carl and Ceil Winters (New Braunfels, Texas). Many years ago when I lived in College Station, Texas, I helped found a neighborhood watch program in a high crime neighborhood as one of my public service projects. Carl and Ceil also have a post each month where you can go and relax without having to spend a lot of time thinking or reading. They usually have it up by the second or third of the month. Here's June's hanging out post.
- What are some of the monthly or annual operating costs of a residential property? — by Marc Swartz (Toronto, Ontario, Canada). A great list to provide to those unsuspecting first-time home buyers.
- A Calming Experience...Watching a Fish Tank — by Margaret Rome (Baltimore, Maryland). With cool pictures! If you've never just sat for an hour (or more!) and watched the fish in an aquarium, try it! It is very relaxing. I'm past my aquarium stage, but it is very relaxing just to walk around an aquarium store and watch THEIR fish that THEY take care of!
- Understanding Human Behaviour, What Are Your Clients Really Feeling and Why? — by Peg Barcelo-Jackson (Edmonton, Alberta, Canada). Sometimes we just have crappy clients.
- Static in the Attic - Fairfield County, CT. Don't forget to check where the sun don't shine. — by Peter Schattenfield (Wilton, Connecticut). Donate, keep, or toss the carp.
- "When Changing A Light Bulb JustIsn't Enough" An "Off The Shelf" Review — by Robert Butler (Pointe Claire, Quebec, Canada). Robert always finds some of the best books to review, and this one is a winner.
- Pay it Forward in Every Season....Find a Reason to Expand Your Giving — by Sally and David Hanson (Brookfield, Wisconsin). You can have your own secret gift shop!
- Just Do It — by Sondra Meyer (Colorado Springs, Colorado). I don't think Nike made any royalties off this post, but that doesn't mean YOU can't make some money!
Until next weekend, blog away, and remember to make your posts Public so that we can reblog them!
After all, if your posts are not rebloggable, how can I tell people to reblog them? "It's not logical," Spock would say.
