Happy Father's Day
Happy Fathers day!-We all need to remember that someday our children will be adults, and they will remember the little things, but also make the moments count, and it's not just quality time thats important, but also quantity time that is also important.
A man came home from a long day of work. He was exhausted.
He stopped by his son's bedroom to tell him goodnight.
The little boy was so glad to see him and began to ask him a million questions about money, and he got a little irritated.
Finally, the little boy asked, "Daddy, how much money do you make?"
The father replied, "Enough!"
Well, the little boy wasn't quite satisfied and asked, "I mean how much do you make an hour?"
The father was not in the mood for any more questions, so he gave the boy a quick lecture and said, "They pay me $25 per hour.!"
The boy then asked, "Can I borrow $10?"
In his frustration, the father raised his voice and said, "NO! Now, go to sleep!"
The following morning the overworked dad felt pretty guilty about the way he treated his son, so he apologized to him and gave him a $10 bill.
The little guy lit up like a Christmas tree and ran to his room. He returned with his piggy bank and spilled its contents on the kitchen table. The dad watched with great curiosity as his son excitedly pushed all his pennies, dimes and nickels toward him.
The little boy reached into his pocket and pulled out the crumpled $10 bill and said, "Daddy, here's $25, can I buy an hour of your time?"
Dads, it's your day. I hope it's a great one. Please enjoy it!
But, remember, one day your kids are going to be adults, and the one thing they will rememer beyond every gift you've ever given them is the time you spent with them. Make the moments count, and it's not just quality time. That's important, but it's also quantity time.
Happy Father's Day!
