How do you think of life?  As a growing kid and playing on the school ground with all the other kids, you don't think of how long you it would be until your time comes to leave this life, you figure, I have at least 50 years.  What a long time, you don't have to worry at all for now… <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

High school life goes on, all the fun you have in school, at all the high school sports games, the parties after the games, the drive in movies, and your relationships through those years.  You are still young and still don't have a worry in the world of how long you have left in your life...

You get to the age of 30, still with a raising a family, work, your relationship with your wife, you start to think a little of what is maybe around the next corner for you, but then you put it out of your mind and carry on.   You figure your life is not even half over and it is not time to worry about it now..

Coming up on the age of 50, Grandparents are starting to pass, your parents are getting older, if not passed on yet, you start to wonder again, how much longer do I have to enjoy my life on earth??

With my life, I have married a second time now and have a beautiful wife and at the age of 47, I have an eight year old and a four year old at home still.  I have 3 daughters from my first marriage and they have blessed me with 4 grandchildren, A father and a grandfather at the same  time, life doesn’t get any better than that.

Still, the thought comes up more and more now about how much longer do you have to live on this earth?  I am always trying to stay in good shape, try to eat good, drink plenty of water for the system, but, I always wonder, is it good enough?  Is it to much??

I will never sit around and count the hours of when I think my time will come and leave this life.  life is still too short, I will run, jump, and play just like in grade school and hopefully live my next 50 years, the same way I have lived the first 47 years of my life.  I will enjoy everything that’s going on around me, my work, my friends, my relatives, my play time, my children, and most of all my wife.

We all have different scenarios on life, think about them, but not for too long. Enjoy every moment.

There is still a lot of years left in life, always stop and smell the roses, look at the world around you, quit dwelling on the past and enjoy the future to come.

Duane.

Duane, I have lost six friends and/or loved ones, in the last two months.  I would have never imagined this could happen.  I have always been positive and just didn't want to consider losing these people in my life. Hoping and praying that the diagnosis was wrong.  It just can't be.  Always looking forward to retirement, a winter home in Florida and enjoying our children.  Doesn't sound like too much to wish for, does it?  Sad to say, other things do happen to us in this life.  We must enjoy our last days with the ones we love, help them all that you can and know that they have gone to a better place, without pain or suffering.  God's plan is in place and we must trust him.
