About 15 years ago, my cousin Vicki Westapher from Colorado Springs became a REALTOR. She is my inspiration behind becoming a REALTOR and Broker myself.
Somehow, interest in real estate has spread through my family. My grandfather was a real estate investor, owning apartment complexes, my father was a real estate investor owning apartment complexes, my aunt was a REALTOR with investment properties, her daughter Vicki became a REALTOR, another cousin and her daughter are REALTORS and now my daughter, Elle has just passed her licensing exam. I'm so proud of her.
