Should I Write a Letter to my Potential Landlord?

If you are a prospective tenant with bad credit, a lack of income or other circumstances you feel might be detrimental to renting a home in Wellington Florida I highly recommend writing a letter to your potential landlord explaining your situation.

So what should your letter to a potential landlord include?

  • Wellington Homes for Rent - Writing a LetterIntroduction:  Introduce yourself and your family, if you have one.
  • Their Home:  Explain why you are interested in renting their home, is it close to schools for your children, your job, family members?
  • Bad Credit:  If you have bad credit explain why, did you suffer a job loss, divorce, death, illness, etc?
  • Lack of Income:  If you have a lack of income explain how you are going to pay rent on time each month.

By writing a letter to a Wellington landlord you are providing full disclosure about your negatives, which in my experience can go a long way with landlords.

If you need assistance finding a home for rent in Wellington Florida you can start your search here or you can leave the searching to us by filling out our Online Rental Questionnaire.

Michelle, that is a great idea. Being honest will go a long way with a potential landlord.

Great ideas to go the extra mile in a somewhat sterile process.  It's sterile around these parts at any rate :)

Pamela - I totally agree, honesty is by far the best policy.

Renee - It's pretty sterile here as well
