Negative Equity Rankings by State...

In a recent report by Core Logic, Arizona had the second highest negative equity percentage with 50% of all mortgaged properties underwater. Nevada held the top percentage at 63%, followed by Florida (46%), Michigan (36%), and California (31%).

Phoenix led the state with a 55% negative equity share.

Well, you're in the heart of it, aren't you?  I'm doing Short Sales out here in Riverside County..Palm Springs, CA and we've been hit hard.  I'm finding that after five years of working Short Sales, more and more Sellers are understanding just how much help a Short Sale Listing Agent is..if they know the bus.  Good luck in your area!
