Happy Anniversary to Me and to Hubby...

Thirty one years ago today, Hubby and I said I do. When we said I do, we said it for the long haul. Now mind you, it's not always been a bed of roses. We have most definitely had our ups and downs. 

I'm so thankful that God gave me a Godly husband.  He's not perfect and neither am I.  He loves me with ALL my faults and let me tell you, I've got some faults!

Hubby and I have raised two lovely, strong women. Courtney is 30 and Megan will be 28 next month.  We have two precious grandchildren, Emma is 3 and Micah is 9 months.  We also have two second generation children that we call our own. Daesha has just turned 11 and Seth will be 9 at the end of the month.

I'm so thankful that we've made it these 31 years and I look forward to growing old with Hubby.  Now old is still a long way off but we'll be there one of these days!

Diane...we did celebrate with a very nice dinner tonight. Now back to the grind. Funny...Chris ALWAYS remembers our anniversary but somehow didn't this year. He has felt so horrible. I'm sure this will NEVER happen again!

Congratulations.  That is quite an accomplishment.  The fact that you were in it for the long haul is admirable.  No marriage is always perfect.  You have to learn to take the good with the not so good.  My husband and I celebrated our 45th anniversary in May.  It seems like yesterday when we married.  Good luck and may you have many more anniversaries.
