Trumbull Day 2011 IS Happening at the Beardsley Zoo and Westfield Mall, Trumbull CT
Saturday, June 25, 2011 marks the return of Trumbull Day featuring food, entertainment, fireworks and family fun.
Historically held at Hillcrest Junior High School, Trumbull Day was cancelled last year due to excessive costs.
The day will begin at the Beardsley Zoo in Bridgeport, CT where Trumbull residents can enter the zoo by showing a Trumbull residency ID and paying a reduced admission charge. Various Trumbull business and community groups will be providing activities for the children. Visit with the animals, ride the carousel, and enjoy the entertainment.
Then beginning at 3 p.m. Westfield Mall in Trumbull will officially open the 2011 Trumbull Day in the parking lot behind J.C. Penney.
Where do you park for Trumbull Day? Head over to Sacred Heart University (main entrance) and take a shuttle to the Westfield Mall.. Pick up & drop off will be at Door 6 at Westfield Trumbull. Shuttle service will begin at 3 p.m. and the last shuttle will leave at 10 p.m. Shuttle will run approx. every 15-20 minutes.

There will be a $1 admission charge which will benefit the Trumbull ACE Foundation.
Come on out and enjoy the ‘new’ Trumbull Day starting at 10 a.m. at the Beardsley Zoo and continuing at the Westfield Mall Trumbull from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Have fun!
