14 Comments on "Man Eating Dog Food" Sculpture outside of World Class Wines, answer to Where is it Wednesday....somewhere in Lake Oswego, Oregon 6/22/11
World Class Wines--Lake Oswego? I'm still waiting on pins and needles to find out which one of your 2 Truths and a Lie is the Lie....hmmmmm.....so exciting!
Cindy- I don't know where it is, I'll be back to see... but I can tell you I haven't missed cigarettes this much in a while.
I guess it's probably a tavern. I can't help noticing how many statues you have where you live and they're all really nice.
Hi Cindy,
You have stumped me big this time! But I sure had fun trying. Can't wait for you to post the answer tonight!
Hi Gayle..DING DING DING! You are correct that this is the location of the statue!! It is indeed right outside of World Class Wines. I'll have more on the artist and name of this piece later when I get off from my Farmer's market committee duty!
Hi Tammy..LOL, don't do it!
Hi Jill, this one was quite odd..at first at a quick glance I thought is was a man, but then when I walked by I noticed it had a tail..hmmmm..so further inspection It wasn't a man at all! Lot's of our local cities have local art all throughout. Lake Oswego is particularly know for this.
Hi John...HA! you are just giving someone else a chance at it. You probably had the answer as soon as you looked at the picture :) . Hope all is good in your beautiful neck of the woods.
Yippppeeeeee--I'm a WEINER!!! I think I'll go have a glass of wine and TOAST MYSELF....'cause I'm sittin' out here all by my lonesome.
Cindy,
This was a great WIIW! I could not connect the statue with a location/business/property. Good job and congratulations to Gayle! I saw the tail, but could not get an image of this online. It seemed like a statue of a "rodent-man," but nothing came up. Never could figure out what he was holding. From the front, it looks like a mug. From the side, there is something coming out of the mug he is going to eat with some utensil. Nonetheless, a very interesting statue! Thank you for the fun!
Hi Gayle...hmmm..Wiener sounds familiar somehow...now where have I heard that name...LOL You enjoy that glass of wine! Well deserved.
Hi John, it is an interesting sculpture for sure. I'm not quite getting the title.."Man eating dog food" ...but sure there is some meaning in there..since it's not a man. Too deep for me to think about..LOL. It can be yours for a mere $9500 buckaroos. He'll even ship it to you. I'd like to see the UPS person bring that up to your front door!
Oh, girlfriend, never had that glass of vino--went and took a run instead!! But, it IS the weekend, so, just might have to make up for lost time.
OMG--just got the Weiner pun, doooohhhhhh!!!
Hi Gayle, Oh, you are so good! Such a nice healthy choice. Now it's Vino time!
