How many ways do I have to like you?
Do I not call you enough and tell you?
Do I not e-mail you enough?
Do I not text you enough?
Do I not update Facebook often enough?
Do I not chat with you?
I have liked you on Facebook. Then I have liked your business page. Then I connected with you on LInkedIn and Followed you on Twitter. I really, really like you.
Now you want me to join you on Plaxo. Not going to do it. Spoke --same thing, not going to do it.
You want me to join your groups. Well, I will join some.
Now you want me to BranchOut on Facebook.
I recommended you on LinkedIn, now I have to on Stik? Come on already. Enough! I need to actually spend some time listing and selling real estate. Should I embrace Stik, BranchOut, Plaxo, Spoke, etc.? Why?
I like you. I really do. But I am getting tired of counting the ways. And yes, I know you like me, too. And have done all of the above for me as well. It's just one great lovefest. But at some point we have to say no to every new way to like someone. Oh, dark chocolate is still the best way to show me you like me. I'm just saying.
What do you think? What works and what is over the top? Are we networked enough yet? Or can one never be too networked? Should we develop an application that makes all of these obsolete?
