Some Fun Deserts From Our Disney Cruise This Summer

My family and I took a vacation on the Disney Cruise Line. 6 years ago, we joined the Disney Vacation Club which helps us with planning our family vacation each year. I have lots of pictures of our actual vacation, but since this is "Wordless Wednesday" (which are always filled with words :-) I decided to share some of the photo's that you would really enjoy.... Who likes DESERTS???

Overall, we gained a few points because they are constantly feeding you. This is just s sample of some of the deserts we ate. They are small, but filled with good flavor... its especially bad when you cant decide on one, so you have two... :-)  Yeah, I did that.

In the second row, middle picture, is the Baked Alaska. Its the offical celebration cake on the last day of your cruise. All VERY good!

I hear you Deb. Thats what our stomach was doing also... even though we had just eaten.

Teral - Thanks!

Mike - I am actually starting P90X again. It wasnt SO bad on the cruise, but I still did gain 5 pounds. Have to work that off, and then some.

Chris - Thats what we did. We couldnt decide on one or two, so we picked 2-3. Its not a good diet plan when you also had an appetizer, soup/sald, plus your entre. And of course, the drink of the day, plus had 3 meals already throughout the day... lol.  They keep you pretty well fed.

That is a true saying Myrl, especially after the age of 25. Prior to that, it seems that it was easier to burn off.

Hi John, Some of the best food ( and deserts) are found on cruises. I wish I could afford the time to take one every year. These deserts look all too fabulous! I know it must be tempting to have more than one, but hey, it is not everyday and the vacation is supposed to about indulgences new experiences , right, :-)

They were very good Loreena. Luckily they are pretty small. But after 3-4 courses before desert, you only really need a small taste.
