With all due respect, this sort of ad would give me the creeps. It's not about disagreeing with the message; it's about disagreeing with the venue in which you choose to offer the message, and those that but for a different basis in religion, are slyly excluded by default.

Are you and the ChristianRealEstateAgents group selling Religion or selling homes?

I thought marketing one's faith and practicing in how we serve customers was a VERY FINE line with respect to following RESPA.

What happens if a customer is not a Christian?
What happens if another agent is not a Christian?

Having faith is GREAT and WONDERFUL, but let's be careful about putting too much religion in how we serve customers of any any faith! Let's not PUSH religion onto OTHERS!

I'm a Christian with budahism background who respects all religions that promotes Peace to one and another and reveres and protects nature. But, I do not push religion onto others and ask them to join.

Laurie, for sure no one is excluded. We do follow and adhere to all Fair Housing laws. Target marketing has been around a long time, developing a niche is ok too. It only becomes a problem if you deny services to someone based on their religion, sex, race, creed etc.

C.Kim, great comments. I think you are referring to Fair Housing Laws not RESPA.

1: A customer is under no obligation to be a Christian. If they are not a Christian, that is ok, certainly we will still help them buy or sell a house, we'd be financially foolhardy and lawbreakers if we didn't.

2: If another agent is not a Christian that is ok too. We do not deny membership or service to anyone. The only requirement to join is to write a quick paragraph as to why I should send you referrals. If I am referring you, I want to know more about what you do, who you are, where you from, what designations if any etc.... Most people can sum up their services in under 30 seconds. That is how long you get at a cocktail party.
