Adrian, you got that right! One must protect their business and guard it from predators. The competition can be fierce! And often times it happens because the other person is complacent or asleep when it happens.

Carole, very true! As they say, "you snooze, you lose." And if you do, you have nobody to blame but yourself. Every day is a new awakening!

Ceil and Carl, congratulations on your move to San Antonio! Stay safe on the roads and may new beginnings be joyful!

Thank you for your good wishes about ongoing closings. If I get enough, I'd love to take a ride down to San Antonio and on to Padre Island. I haven't been there in years. I'd surely give you a call to say hello and see if you wanted to get a cup of coffee. It would be nice to meet you.

I wish you all the best in your home!

Judy,

I thought the Rooster was stunning. His colors were pretty amazing! I saw him in Switzerland. Whatever they feed those roosters to maintain that color is pretty amazing! I've never seen one in those beautiful colors here in the states.

Thanks for noticing!

A, I didn't know that the rooster goes to be early but that makes sense! Isn't it something how the rooster knows when it's time to get up. His biological clock never fails and he always gets it right. Don't you wish people were like that too?

It sounds like you are staying consistently busy. I pray good things happen to you always. Your blog posts are sensational. Despite your tiredness, you always produce quality! I greatly enjoy your friendship in the RAIN! :P)

Mary,

I remember the day I stumbled upon that beautiful rooster. I was immediate attracted to his colors and his voice was strong, bold and confident. He left a good impression on me and I proudly took his picture. It's great to be able to share him in the RAIN for others to see. He's a Swiss Rooster!

Thanks for the congrats on my closing. I worked very hard on it. The buyers were first time home buyers and we clicked. Good closings always leaves favorable imprints in my heart! Just as good people like you in the RAIN!

Sharon, and to think I wrote that post without any coffee or juice! I was on a roll and I credit my dear Rooster, whom I captured from Switzerland, for giving me the motivation I needed to start my day. I'm glad you enjoyed my pep talk!

All the best to you and others too!

Kristine,

Those colors are truly vivid, aren't they! If I knew how to sew, I'm make something really cool to wear using all those colors. And just think how much fun it would be to pick out a pair of shoes and a purse! That Swiss Rooster stole my heart and not likely to be forgotten.

Thanks a million for wishing me congrats on my closing. The first time home buyers were a true delight! I wish you success in all that you do too! :)

Judi,

Your words are priceless! It would be fun to have a bold cup of coffee with you at your local corner store. I do hope our paths cross in real life some day. For now, I'll settle for this - blogging in the RAIN!

Thanks Judi :)

William,

Your voice is the sound of creative wisdom and it comes across in your written words. What you do, is as unique as the colors of this Swiss Rooster - isn't he a beauty! I was just telling Kristine in my previous post, that if I knew how to sew, I'd choose those colors to design something gorgeous!

William, I love what you said about God's design department. That's a great way to to look at things and a gentle reminder of just how great God is! With God, I never have any doubts. As Mother Teresa once said, "kind words can be short and easy to speak but their echos are truly endless." That what I hear when I read your comments.

I also receive joy when I see and feed the birds. They are like little angels coming in for a breakfast treat or a hearty lunch. I just know your new feeders will give you a good return on your investment. Creation is a great compensation and you have front row seats! I'm sure your camera will be snapping like crazy!

Squirrels can be a problem when you're specifically trying to attract the birds. I know they mean well and they have to eat too, but sometimes they can spoil the fun - sorry to say that because I love all animals. I just wish I knew how to separate them.

Nice chatting with you William :)

Judith,

I think the Rooster was an inspiration to me. Words came easily, as if it came out of the picture. I remember the day I saw the rooser so vividly. I shared the experience with my daughter and it was a lovely day. That's what I'm wishing for you and all the people who were kind enough to find reason to comment - GOOD WISHES, A LOVELY DAY, SUCCESS IN BUSINESS AND IN THE RAIN!

Debbie,

I really appreciate hearing from you Debbie and letting know that my message came across as loud and clear. I'm afraid, there was no other way to do it! Sometimes it isn't easy to remain in a positive frame of mind, especially when there's a million things to do.

This Rooster made it easy for me because I did see him with my own two eyes in Switzerland and he showed no fear. Lucky me, I got to enjoy the colors of his feathers and see him up front and personal!

All the best to you Debbie :)

Patricia - congrats on the closing! I'm up at 5 every day (even before the roosters); get lots done before the phone rings at 9am. Love the early mornings! That's a great picture of that guy.
