Hi, The convention is coming to my city, Charlotte, North Carolina, Hotels are booked, houses
are being rented, restaurants are being built, and people are "excited".. Its a good time for
the city and could be for us Real Estate Brokers. Anyone coming here to the Convention.

Amazing how a big event like a convention can energize a city. In 2000, the Republicans nominated George Bush here in Philadelphia. It was incredible to see the influx ofpeople and money, see the hotels from as far away as 50 miles be booked, read about the galas, parties and fundraisers. Congrats to Charlotte for "winning" the convention sweepstakes.
A convention can really be a blessing at this time in our economy. I am looking for
long term "lovers" of the city..Their are some great prices on homes, rentals, etc. now.
I can only hope that people will want to come back and investigate more, and when
they do, I want to be ready, willing and able to help them. Audrey
