Free Genetic Screening Seminar in New Windsor, NY - November 1, 2007

The New York Cancer Center, in New Windsor, NY, will conduct a FREE Seminar to discuss genetic testing and screening for individuals with a personal or family history of breast, ovarian, colon or melanoma cancers.

The seminar will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2007. It is scheduled to start at 5:30 PM and to end at 7:30 PM. The New York Cancer Center is located at: 59 New Windsor Highway, Route 32 Suite 100, New Windsor, NY 12553.

The ability to predict the possibility of contracting a cancer is new. Seminars like this are needed to educate the public about genetic testing.

It is an excellent service the center is offering to the local residents free of charge.

Great post and very important information for the public, I know the service is free and that is good for some people who cannot afford to pay for the test.

I wouldn't have thought tickets were necessary, but it makes sense.

Danielle - Tickets are necessary because space is a consideration, however the tickets are free.

I think I will just live in denial. My family has enough issues at this point so I don't want to know any more. Real grown up to pull the covers over my head, I know.
