Come to the Citrus Heights Red, White & Blue Parade!
The 12th annual Citrus Heights CA Red, White and Blue Parade is this Saturday June 25th. It starts at 9:00 am near Madison Avenue and follows Sunrise Blvd to the Sunrise Mall parking lot at Greenback Rd.
The parade is sponsored by the city of Citrus Heights and is coordinated by a committee of community volunteers. It is a lot of fun for the whole family and is very patriotic, which is appropriate in these times with the wars and unrest in the world.
Come out and see floats, clowns, vintage cars, live animals, marching bands, giveaways, and much more. The floats will be on display in the parking lot until noon. Come on out and see them - they are always very creative.
And if all of that for free isn't enough to bring you and your family out, from 9:30 am to noon they will also be serving a pancake brunch in the Sunrise Mall parking lot. Just $5 per ticket, going to the Rotary Club of Citrus Heights to support its causes.
This is a fun one, and if you have any questions you can call (916) 727-5400 for more information.
If you have other commitments and won't be able to make it to the parade, just keep in mind that Sunrise Blvd will be closed between Madison and Greenback for at least part of the morning.
