Hudson-Florida - Re/Max Sunset Realty and Patriotic Fireworks Presents The Angelus 3rd Annual Family, Fun, & Fireworks Extravaganza on Saturday, July 2, 2011. Live entertainment by Wiley Fox.

The fee is $10 per carload and there will be food, music, beer, games, and FWC Wresting. (No coolers or personal fireworks, please). Re/Max Sunset Realty will have a tethered balloon ride.

ALL Proceeds will benefit The Angelus so come out and say hello all of us from Re/Max Sunset Realty.

What is The Angelus. The Angelus is a “place to live, to love, to learn”. It is home for severely handicapped persons who are not able to care for themselves. All of the residents and students have cerebral palsy and all use wheelchairs.

The Angelus was founded in 1979 in St. Petersburg, Florida. By 1985, The Angelus had 14 children entrusted to their care and the home in St. Petersburg was bursting at the seams. Seventeen acres of beautiful wooded land was obtained in Pasco County which included a small two bedroom house. The first Angelus country home was completed in 1986 and in 1987 the second home was built by volunteers.

The Angelus now has 5 group homes with 32 residents.
