Should you BUY a home in a down market?

Absolutely!  Think of buying a house like buying stock.  You know what they say, "Buy low, Sell high".  The same concept applies to buying a home.  Today's market is ripe with properties for sale.  These homes provide great opportunities to enter home ownership for the first time, move up or down in size, or dabble in investment property.

Today the number of sellers is higher than the number of buyers.  Remember what you learned in school about supply and demand?  When the supply is greater than the demand, prices go down.  Buying now is better.  If you wait until there is a smaller supply of homes, you may find yourself in a bidding war (demand) which causes the prices to go up, up, up.

So, if you are sitting on the fence of home ownership, and you plan to keep the home for 5 years or more, and you can afford to buy. Do it! Don't delay! "Do not pass go and collect $200".  With low rates and lower prices there is no better time than now.  Home ownership is waiting for you.

So many good reasons to buy a home now!  Rates and prices are just a couple.
