Okay I have to admit there are only a few things sweeter than this...golden retriever and a kitten. But check out this news story from the Associated Press:

The retriever nurses the little kitten and accepted her as one of her own!

Locally I know of a couple goldens who need a new home. They are brother and sister and 3 and 4 years old. The owners have a new baby who is alergic and so they must be placed in a new home together. If you know anyone who might be interested please e mail me directly and I will get additional information to you and thank you in advance!

Karen, I wish I could take them, but with 4 dogs and 5 kids...................my plate is full. Hopefully, they can stay together. Maybe you could join the pets group here on activerain and post it there too.

Yea, I did post it there. I've got to get my own blog going on my website and post my heart felt animal posts there as well. I'm thinking they will find a home together somewhere here in Washtenaw county.
