Tennis Lessons Summer 2011 in Lansdale PA Tennis Anyone?

Lansdale Parks and Recreation is offering tennis lessons for teens and adults this summer.

Session 1—July 11-14

Session 2—July 18-21

Teens (12-17)* 9am—11am

Adults (15+)* 7pm—9pm

 

 

*The TEEN program is designed for the middle school and high school player.  The ADULT program is designed for tournament and match play.

$55/session or $100 for both—residents

$65/session or $120 for both—non-residents

Lessons will be held in Memorial Park, Lansdale at Penn St and Park Dr.

Lida - I think it's a great idea to keep teens involved in healthy activities like tennis during the summer - keeps them out of trouble, great exercise and something they may become passionate about. I love tennis and it all started back in high school!

I played tennis up until just a few years ago when I finally came to accept that my knees, legs, ankles, feet, and elbows have decided the don’t want to play tennis anymore. Now I’m just a spectator.

Kristine, I used to love to play tennis but I haven't played in a while.  One of the coaches of this clinic is Gina's husband Steve.  He offered me a free lesson, I am considering it.  Maybe I will get back into it.

Jim, It just sucks that we all have to get older and our bodies protest the things we love to do.
