Parting Shots for Friday...
As I said in a post the other day, I have been in the home inspection business for years and nothing really rattles my cage or surprises me. But there are things that make me want to burst out laughing and scratch my head and wonder, Why?
Maybe they... Nah! no one can be that obtuse can they? <sigh> All in a days work I reckon...
...and they knew you were coming to inspect the home...how do you forget about something like that??
That pretty much takes the cake for me as far as Handy Man Fixer Uppers are concerned.
Hi Michael, gotta love duct tape, handiman's secret weapon. What an absolute mess!
That is just a thing of beauty, a work of art. I think it should be in the Smithsonian.
Good evening Michael,
I wonder if the sellers are embarrassed with this photo in the report!! This is hysterical on one hand but pathetic on another!!
Well there's ducttape, elelectrical tape, and maybe some scotch tape as well, but the extra hose is a mystery.
Micael ~ Seriously a very sad looking plumbing job ~ Is that duct tape under there?
Duct tape, the other caulk :) I wouldn't even call that creative, it's just plain dumb.
Michael,
What makes that totally wrong was there was no "Baling" wire to complete the project. Other than that it was perfect ; )
I have seen many uses for duct tape, and can laugh at this one, Michael, but electrical tape?
Michael-Duct tape is VERY versatile but that takes the cake. Pretty scary stuff out there in homes these days.
Michael, I'm thinking it would have been much cheaper and take less time to do it right...I never understand why people will work soooo hard at a bad idea.
Another very good reason for a home inspecition!
Life is better when there are flowers to photograph!
Howdy and morning you Michael
Michael, with that there Duck Tape on the pips, sure looks like some from up here did the work. A lot of folks up here use Duck Tape to fix their shoes, pants, they even use it to cover up rust holes of their vehicle.
Have a good one
