Great stuff! I have not invested enough time and energy into my FB page, but this is giving me the motivation to do so. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us!
Jay, I haven't done much with my Facebook page. I will have to take another look. Thanks for the info and bookmarked.
Thanks for much for the great feedback! IF YOU ARE HAVING TROUBLE with loading your fan page code, PLEASE email me at jayo at remax.net and I will personally help you. A couple already have and it's an easy fix. I think the develope site for Facebook just gets jammed sometimes. The code you want is in the iFrame box.... copy and paste that. Thank you all!
Also, please take a second and LIKE my Fan Page on the right side of this post!! For every like through the end of June I will donate $1 to the Make-A-Wish foundation (I mentioned that in my new Facebook post Yesterday!)
I've already had a couple dozen new likes in the last 48 hours... have you liked it yet??
Thanks for your support!
Super Helpful, Thanks Jay.
Jay- thanks for the help! I'm working on it as we speak : )
Jay, great stuff for a technodummy like me, thank you. I bookmarked it.
Jay, I'm going to try this. Who knows if I'll figure it out or not.
Jay,
Great Post! thanks for sharing! I am going to set mines up right away.
Jay, I do not have my own Facebookas it makes my feoncey uncomfortable. However we do have a office page. I have tried repeatedly to get the like button onto our website and other pages but it always tells me that the code is wrong. Is there something that I am not doing correctly? I often post things like new listing and all that but then try to post things that are happening in the community but I am the only one that really uses it. (There are only a few of us in the office to date.) I will try again with the info that you have provided.
Jay - This is a fantastic article! Thank you for pulling together this excellent information. Do you mind if I pass the link on to some of our clients? I'm sure they'll be able to benefit.
As a social-savvy agent, what are your thoughts on Google+? I'm pretty excited about it (just wrote a blog post, actually!), but would love your input as well.
Thanks for this. I liked your page, I think... I hit like anyway. I'll do the mobile thing later, but I have some questions that I will email. Thanks!
Hi Jay: Thank you for this post, as well as your personal help in getting my Facebook Like Box to work! I'll try the mobile photo upload later. Thank you!
Bruce
Jacquelne has a great blog about Google+ here. Go check it out!
Jenny, try Facebook Lists to keep your biz and personal people separated. It's helpful.
Good talking with you today, Bruce! Glad you got it working!
I have done that already so they when we go on we know who it is that we are talking to, and how they came to be on there.
Any thoughts why it didn't work on my AR sidebar? Weird. But totally psyched about being able finally to email the fan page!
Virginia, I looked at your blog and you may have info (code) already in that area of your profile so they are conflicting. Did you get the code from the Facebook link? If so, try clearing the box totally out on your profile area and only pasting in that Facebook code. Email me if you have issues: jay at remax.net
Hey... I just came back to pull the code... it actually works on my website but needs to be changed... BUT, I jst noticed that your FB sidebar is doing what mine did on my sidebar... right this moment, it looks like this...
Interesting, Virginia. My sidebar looks fine in on my computer right now. Anyone else seeing that? Maybe it's a setting on your machine. Maybe cookies or allowing permissions for Facebook apps or something....
