5 Comments on Salt Lake City Real Estate Gaining Momentum - I am OUT of Here!!
Brett, you are a VERY smart man..... you have your priorities straight. Your kids will only look back at their childhood with memories of being on THAT Lake. I grew up in Holliday... on Valley View St. (age 6-12). My Dad, always lived in SLC..... as a geologist, who mapped and surveyed So. Utah, we spent many summers around Escalante. those fish are beyond belief....... what a catch!!!! Good thing you have a photo to prove the size of those fish!
Utah has proven to have the most stable economy of ANY state! About to go to a "gold standard"... right? I have told any of my relatives thinking of relocating to move to Utah..... they think I am crazy, but my dream relocation would be around Cedar City or Richfield.....
Thanks Teri,
I see your home base is in Havasu.. NICE! I love the West!
Brett, I just spent June 11th - June 19th in Salt Lake City for our family vacation. I can understand how you love the area. We enjoyed our week there and enjoyed all the sights and venues that the city had to offer. My daughter has added SLC to her list of possible places to live when she graduates from college. Who knows, I may be out there again soon.
Brett.... here is a "bit of history" since I see that you cover Park City..... I skiied the main resort, not sure what it is called now, the first year it opened, and it was called Treasure Mountain. My step-dad owned a bar, restuarant on Main St. called the Gold Digger and my Aunt and Uncle owned the Park City Hotel...... I spent alot of time in Park City as a kid.... we skiied the heck out of that mountain when I was your kids age......
Kathy. Thank-you for the comment. I love SLC it is a grand place to live or visit. If you daughter ever decides to make Salt Lake her town I know a good agent..
Teri.. that is awesome. my aunt owned a lodge just a block from Treasure Mt when I was growing up the "Trailways Lodge" or maybe it was the tramway.. I cant remember for sure.. I love Park City. we ski there often still. Thanks I remember the Gold Digger though i was much to young to enter. LOL
