Alligator waiting for lunchLittle alligator waiting for lunch on the St Johns River in Florida.  I was walking along the dock going to lunch at Corky's and looked over and saw what I thought was a plastic alligator.  I watched him for awhile then he decided to move along with me.  There were signs saying do no feed the alligators.  Just thought I would share my little alligator story.

I has been a long time sense I was in Florida but as I recall they were all over the place.  I drove down a place called Alligator Alley.

Rhonda, That sure is a little close for comfort.  Interesting to think about what creatures are lurking in different areas of the country. We have to worry about black bears, foxes and sometimes coyotes. But no alligators in Jersey!

My husband frew up in Florida and he told me they had to go and check the pool every morning before getting in because the alligators would crawl in. I think they were little ones but still scary.

I'm sure there are baby alligators somewhere in Louisiana, but I have only seen the BIG ones!  Hope you remember the signs and don't encourage that little one to be your "friend".

Have a great weekend,
