Come swing in the trees at the newest event called Canopy being offered at the U.S. National Whitewater Center here in Charlotte, NC.
"The U.S. National Whitewater Center (USNWC) is located in Charlotte, NC on over 400 acres of woodlands adjacent to the Catawba River. As an outdoor adventure and environmental education center, the USNWC attracts nearly a half million people annually. The year-to-date attendance as of May 2011 is over 2.2 million. The USNWC is home to the world's largest man-made whitewater river and offers a variety of outdoor activities such as whitewater rafting, whitewater and flatwater kayaking, a canopy tour, zip-lines, ropes courses, rock climbing, and mountain biking. The USNWC frequently hosts international competitions, trail races, music festivals, and special events including the 2008 Olympic Trials. The USNWC is designated as a U.S. Olympic training site by the U.S. Olympic Committee."
