Those words could easily be heard on any sports field or court as a coach pushes the players in training or in the game. Pushing them to do their best. Pushing them to better themselves, and give it 110%.

I don't have a coach in real estate. I did take a program once (the material was as old as the hills, and so was the coach....) but it came at a great price. Ah...you get what you pay for. Hey, I do still use some of the forms, so it was not a total loss.

Active Rain ArchivesSo I was just posting some comments on Active Rain blogs and I was reminded of a tool we all have to help us, coach or no coach, "Pick up the Pace Boy! You Wanna Play in this Game Or Not!"

How easy is it for you to get off your blogging track. For me, it seems harder to stay on, than ever fall off. But if you want to be reminded how much, or how little you have done, just take a look to the right hand side of your blog and you'll find your coach....His (or her) name is

Archives.

Yep, in once quick glance you can see what your pace is month to month and what you are doing. I just looked at mine and as you can see here, it's pretty consistant. But is it the pace I want. Am I playing in the game or not?

I look back to February or May, 2010, and obviously I had some extra juice of some kind going on. So, by looking at this handy dandy tool,

"Pick Up the Pace Boy! You Wanna Play in This Game or Not!"

Good point, Thom....good point.  I'm going to glance at my archives now to see how I rate.

No matter how busy I am - blogging is a priority!  If I stop so does the leads.  I am playing catch up and machine gunning my subscribers this weekend but I think AR has the point system for a reason - it is a guideline of what works!

Thom, OUCH! You got me. I completed the 31 Days of May challenge and sort of fell off the wagon in June. I don't suppose you want to hear all the reasons why...

Chris: Made the stop and think....I'm working on a spread sheet right now for blogging, social media and other things so I I have a check list to look at daily/weekly and make sure I keep my self on track. It's just to easy to get OFF track.

Renee: I also think my IDX has something to do with the success of my site. I'm looking at making that change soon.

Charles: It's ok...you can tell me and I'll listen. Maybe even scold you!

Sometimes on a very busy day I look back through and get an idea for a new post by looking at some old ones.  I even sometimes take a snippet from one of those old posts and refresh with a few new paragraphs.

Thom,

It's easy to fall off track or pace, when you get busy!  (I have been crazy - in a good way - closings, new buyers, new listings, new leases, BUT BLOGGING still has to happen!)

All the best, Michelle

I ain't looking.  It would be too depressing.  But we all know your pace is way up in other directions, so I wouldn't worry.
