Enjoy Independence Day with Family and Friends, and let's remember our military

US flagIndependence Day, commonly known as the Fourth of July,  commemorates the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, declaring independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain.

Independence Day is commonly associated with fireworks, parades, barbecues, carnivals, fairs, picnics, concerts, baseball games, family reunions, political speeches and ceremonies, and various other public and private events celebrating the history, government, and traditions of the United States. Independence Day is the national day of the United States.  So, as we celebrate with our family and friends, please remember our military.

Below is a fantastic salute to our military.  The music is great and the singer is Gene Simmons of "KISS".  The video was filmed in Iraq at a USO tour of a U.S. Base.

The video has been out for a while, but it is the first time I've seen it.  I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Wishing you all a safe and happy Independence Day!
