Please destroy your fax machine and never use it again. Ever!
I am sooo serious. I hate fax machines. I don't own one and neither should you. If you must use 'fax' get an efax (or similar ) number already.
I don't have a fax number on my business card for one simple reason - I DON'T WANT YOU TO SEND ME A FAX.
Believe it or not I have email. Unless you don't there is no reason to be sending faxes. And if you don't I probably will not be doing business with you anyway.
It is just too much trouble.
Thank you for your time.

OH, don't forget to fan my business page on facebook at:

WOW...I agree there are cleaner ways to do business,
But I wouldn't go this far. There are still some short sale docs that the banks I work with demand to have faxed. In our area we also deal with a lot of older people that think the fax is new age.
Fax isn't as popular as it once was, but still used by many. Many of our buyers use fax at their offices. I wouldn't want to excluse business from them.
You're not the first person I've seen post something about fax machines being obsolete. I agree that I do not want to receive a "fax", but I am sent faxes daily on my efax. And, if someone doesn't have a fax, I send it to my efax so I can e-mail it to them.
I rarely use my fax machine anymore. Usually I just scan and e-mail the documents. Just seems easier.
Debbie, I have efax and can send and receive faxes. But you won't find my efax number printed anywhere. You have to ask. I have found that most people that fax can also email and will if nugged a bit.
Lenn, I don't exclude business from them but I do make them aware that fax is antiquated. Even if they use fax at their office virtually all of my buyers can also use email.
My fax machine ran out of ink 5 years ago and I never replaced it.
By the way, most buyers LOVE electronic signature capability (I use Docusign) - but that is another blog post.
Tracie - I get faxes daily on my efax too. Mostly they are advertisements or clinical reports from doctors and labs with very personal medical information that I get because they put in the wrong area code.
Kim: I'm with you. It is easier.
I don't FAX don't ask me.....I have used myFax for years - no machine, no toner, no paper NO ADDITIONAL LAND LINE!
Paul, I have had other agents ask me my fax number and quite honestly I couldn't remember it. Good job!
Faxes aren't used much anymore but for some clients it's the only option. I keep a number but it's online and paperless.
Alan, Once we are all 'online and paperless' a useless piece of equipement can cease to exist! yea!
Speaking of paperless - I love electronic signatures - oh, I said that was another blog post. :)
