Pick of the week

I actually have two. But decided on one today and tomorrow I will share the other one.

This picture was actually a bitter-sweet one. Some of you may remember last January when I first posted a wintry picture of our ball field here in Bellingham. Then, I posted the pictures of the opening ceremony, followed by the first pitch of both my sponsored team and my son's team. It was "play ball" time. The playoff came to fast. And here we were at my son's final playoff game. We did not know at the time. We were still hoping to make it to the next round. The team worked hard but so many rookies, so little practice time...

All parents cheered them on. It was a great game. They fought hard. On this picture, you see all the signs and boards that were made to encourage them. I see this as a typical American scene of June. It is the last week of June and we are all planning for the 4th festivities and dreaming of next season, next year!

Lydie, very nice, this brings back some very found memories of summertime and of course "baseball." Best.

Lydie a lovely story and very slice of life. Sometimes the losses make us aware of the importance of the process. Sounds like you know that. Have a great day.

The season is over already?  Where does the time go?  Sorry it didn't quite work out the way the team had hoped.  Hopefully they will all enjoy their summer.
