Oh my - I take a weekend off from AR - what did I miss?  Whatever it was, I hope everyone worked things out - life is too short!

I just don't understand it. If you don't like what the writer is saying or even disagree, ignore it, go on to the next post. It really isn't worth becoming petty over it. Even if someone does say something you disagree with, maybe try to see their point of view or learn from it.

One of my favorite bloggers that I follow here in the rain was someone that said something negative on one of my posts. Instead of deleting it, I called him and we had a great conversation about it. I learned some things from his 40 years in the business and we have become great friends who talk on the phone probably every couple months.

Hiya Gayle, I love the mushroom head in your potted plant!   I'm certainly a fan of music to brighten a day but, today, it was the 'shroom head that got me flashing the pearly whites.

I also read your piece Who Would You Have in Your Lifeboat?   Your lifeboat is a clever metaphor for having a crackerjact team to cover lending, title and escrow.   Rainers should definitely read it, again.  There's more than meets the eye.

As you aptly mentioned, asking "who WOULD you have in your lifeboat" is a really fun conversation starter for a cocktail party convo, the casual kickstarter, and or a business ice-breaker.  

I suggest that rainers revisit your blog and feature it!  Brian

Ok - friends who love me - of the 180+ comments, a less-than-pleasant-person pushed her business over and over on my comment section, and this was her NINTH comment today:

Wish I hadn't erased it, but I think I'm done replying to those comments.  I'm on the Lake with you, Missy. We're gonna do this.  I'm thinking some time next summer.  And I'm thinking that Brian didn't see what Kristine said.  He may not pick up his sword, but I'm ready to . . . SO nice to have a safe place to come to.  Love you all - so glad you're in my life.

I thought her quote came today . . . must have been from before . . .

Wow, I guess I don't see these things until AFTER the fact. I would have to say jealousy, insecurities and such is what leads people to be NASTY. I can't imagine EVER being rude to anyone for any reason - but I do have my own opinions and viewpoints - it's fun to disagree respectfully. 

Wonder if those folks realize they get back from the universe what they toss out to the universe - at any rate, given that reality, I feel very, very sorry for them.

Decided to stay with the logo as it has done way to good for my business. I may throw a picture of me in a little more since everyone thinks I should. Need to get one of me fishing and believe me as I watched the sunshine, I was thinking of me being up at the lake also!

Maybe this weekend, now that baseball season is finally over!

Gayle...I think I missed out on ALL the action but after reading everyone's comments I've kind of caught up but really still not sure what was going on. But, that's okay!  Aside from the drama issues your post does say many good things.  It is how we treat each other and the good we leave behind!
