Stunning Flowers From Texas -- From Your Houston Real Estate Professional
After being so dry here in the Houston area, it rained for a full day last week. This cute little flower popped up on Sunday. It appears to be symmetrically perfect.
I think this is called a balloon flower. I took the picture on a weekend that I was taking pictures of trains in Texas.
This little batch of flowers also bloomed after the rain last week. I believe it is a portulaca.
This lovely wine cup (or primrose) is traditionally a wild flower seen on the side of Texas Highways, but this one was at Mercer Arboretum & Botanic Gardens.
This near perfect rose was in the flower section at Kroger on Grant Road and Louetta in Houston.
This is a Turk's Cap. The red color of the bloom make it a favorite plant of hummingbirds. I saw this flower in Zilker Botanical Gardens.
