BORDERS BOOK SIGNING "PEARLS FOR GIRLS" ......GOES WELL FOR ALL

The Borders book signing for the latest in the "PEARLS SERIES" of self-help and reflection books went very well. As usual, the consumers were the stars and I met some very interesting people who shared of themselves. We all gave and received and everyone left each other better for it

BOOKS THAT MAKE GOOD GIFTS

"PEARLS FOR GIRLS DATING WAITING & SEX...IN SEEKING CUPID...DON'T BE STUPID" made its first book signing debut and sales from young girls, to young women, fathers with daughters, moms, married and divorced women took place at a hurried pace. The book is definitely a gift first to the women and then to anyone else.

DADS APPROVE THE "PEARLS FOR GIRLS" BOOKS

A dad came in with his 13 year old daughter, picked it up, skimmed through it and asked his daddy's girls daughter if this was something she would like to have. She responded YES like a kid being asked if they want an ice cream. I dedicated it and the father thanked me. I let him know that I helped him with his little PEARL of a girl. He already knew that from skimming the book.

DIVORCED AND SINGLE MOMS

A divorced mother of two girls came up and shared with tears that she was on her way to visit her daughter in Juvenile Hall. The woman had been married twice and is now alone and having a time of it. She said she didn't want to see her daughter without bringing her a love gift. She had no idea where to go or what to buy, but ended up at this store. She bought for her two daughters and for her self and we all shared tears, hugs, and joy.

TEACHERS, SINGLE GIRLS AND...?

Tina and Concepcion both bought books who happen to be teachers and involved with women's groups as well as students. Both will be considering additional purchases.
