There are quite a few new buildings that have gone up or are under construction right now in San Francisco - with most of them in the South of Market area. Many of those are still selling very well as they really are something entirely new for the city. A few of the buildings are having a hard time as they many be overpriced and can't really compete with some of the other buildings - lesser amenities, worse locations, views, etc.

The sales of condos in the existing buildings are still pretty strong as there just aren't that many available in a particular building at any given time. Here's a couple charts on the condo sales in the past year.
