Client Focused Real Estate - Understanding & Accomplishing Our Clients' Goals

The most important goal a Realtor can achieve is to serve as a SOURCE for Real Estate for our clients. In order to be able to accomplish this, we as Realtors must continually educate ourselves on numerous levels;

First and foremost, we must become exceedingly knowledgeable about the local Real Estate Market, pricing, location, local issues, environmental concerns, schools, transportation, and the general state of the local economy.  This is valuable information which will be invaluable to our clients in the sale or purchase of a home.

Second, we must be able to educate our clients, both our Buyers and Sellers, as to value in today's market place.  Understanding home value, particularly in a fluctuating market, takes daily monitoring of what is happening, which homes are selling, the specific prices of those homes which are selling, and the direction of pricing, whether it be up or down.  Understanding these market trends is the key to understanding pricing.  Knowledge is a powerful tool.  Once again, clients who are truly educated to the market will understand value and be able to act accordingly.

Third, we must at all times treat our clients with respect and kindness; Purchasing a home or selling a home often creates mixed emotions, which must be always treated with deference and understanding.  The exceptional Realtor will create a bond with each of her/his clients, and will understand the very special relationship needed to help our Clients accomplish their goals. 

Fourth, we must respect our Clients' need for privacy, and allow them accessibility to us as needed, without crossing the line by interfering into their private and personal lives.

The diversity of the role of the accomplished Realtor and educating ourselves in these specifically noted areas is the key to enabling us as Realtors to help our clients achieve their goals.  And, in turn, in helping our clients to achieve their goals, our lives as Realtors are enriched.
