Get Footloose at Red White & Blue Ash Sunday July 3 2011
Are you ready for the biggest FREE July 4th weekend bash in the area? Rozzi's fireworks beginning at 10 p.m. July 3rd? Big blasts and lots of color! Head to Red White & Blue Ash Sunday July 3rd!
Now of course you're not going to want to wait into 10 p.m. to get there! One, you just might have a FEW people joining you! Two, there's food to be had from a number of Blue Ash businesses! Three, there's THREE musical acts! Exile performs at 2:30 p.m., Blue Sky Riders performs at 5 p.m., and Kenny Loggins performs at 8:15 p.m. So you can get Footloose in The Danger Zone and get your '80s music fix!
The event will be held in the parking lots of the corporate office park on the northwest corner of Reed Hartman Highway and Glendale Milford Rd (just across from the Blue Ash airport). That said, you might be better off catching one of the many free shuttles to and from the event starting at 4 p.m. and running through midnight. Among the pick up points are: Blue Ash Municipal Center (4343 Cooper Rd), the former site of Bally's (Kenwood & Cornell), Raymond Walters College (9555 Plainfield Rd). There are other pick up points, so check the official Red White & Blue Ash event site for further details.
As far as event rules, just a few things you need to know: No PERSONAL fireworks, NO coolers, NO glass containers, NO alcohol (this is a FAMILY event). And no pirating the performers, so no video, pictures or audio recording. Easily a fair trade for the day's FREE entertainment!
So if you want to catch some tunes & watch some fireworks, the Red White & Blue Ash Celebration is the place to be Sunday! And for those that can't wait, here's a sample of last year's fireworks!
