I don't know if you'll be able to tell from this picture, except that the ground is very wet, but it is raining quite hard in Alameda, California today. Also, I think someone has recently spilled soap of some kind, because there are bubbles all over the ground. This rain is very strange for the END of June! I took this picture from inside the office, where it is cold. Did I mention this is the end of June?!
Chris - over here in Sonoma County it started raining at 7:30 this morning and hasn't stopped since. Bizarre weather!!

When you mentioned those bubbles it reminded me of years ago when I was planting flowers and in each hole I added a few crystals of this stuff that was meant to hold moisture in the soil. I accidently knocked the box over and tried to clean up my mess, at least I thought I got most of it up. The next morning it had rained and when I was leaving the house there was this huge mound of gelatinous "stuff" on the lawn.. It looked like something from outer space, but it was those crystals that had absorbed so much water. I wish I had a picture of it!
Wow rainy and cold? ....Just seems strange! I think this is a little more than June gloom. Thanks for sharing your picture.
Hi Cynthia - It started here about 10:30-11 and then at home in Concord about an hour or two later. Very strange weather!

I wish I could have Deb! This week we're in the middle of a heat wave, which is more normal for this area, but strange after so much rain the week before.

Chris, not seeing you in the blog roll too often. Having to come back and comment twice on this post. We had rain just the other day and I am praying for an early Fall. This has been the mildest Summer ever in Redding. Hope you are well, my friend! Miss you in the games....stopped playing...have to work!
Work is good Jeanean, definitely! It hasn't been too bad where I live this year, we had a couple weeks where it was just too hot, but that's about it. I haven't been blogging, I know. Can't really come up with much to talk about! I'm glad you're busy and hope you are well also!
