Just goes to show you can not judge a book by the cover. I have seen this clip before and every time his voice gives me chills. It is inspiring on many levels. I was not as shocked by his voice - but was shocked that neither Pierce or Simon had anything bad to say! And Amanda was correct - that little lump of coal turned into a beautiful diamond and won the title!

One word: AWESOME!! Earl, thanks for sharing the video. It is my first time seeing it and I was completely shocked when I heard his voice. Truly amazing voice and a gifted person. Listening to his singing definitely sends chills up and down your spine. It comes to show that we cannot judge a book by its cover. Image is not everything. Sometime we never know what we have until we tap into our hidden potential. I hear you when you say find that passion in life and chase after that dream.
I agree with you that things are never right. If we wait for that time to occur, we may never see it and it may pass by without us knowing it. There is never a perfect time since that is just an excuse to delay the inevitable. The right time is now. I see that you are a great motivator since you have a good grasp on the philosphy of life. Again, thanks for the positive energy and for sharing! After watching that video, I think I might pursue opera singing too. "Time to say goodbye....(5+ pts)
