The Colors of Summer

The vibrant, diverse colors brought out by the rains of spring have blanketed the summer landscapes. Effervescent colors pop among the dominant waves of green. Cicadas sing their summer song and birds are flying about, busy gathering from the bounty that this spell has brought. All creatures knowing soon the soft, cool breath of autumn will wisp away the simplicity of this season.

Charlie, Had a few of those ball type planted along the walk at my last house. I eventually dug them out.

Don, Mosquitoes are fierce this year due to all the rain this June. Actually this bush had plenty of bees hopping from bloom to bloom, but I wasn't fast enough to catch one with the lens :)
