Halyburton Park and North Carolina Aquariums present the Summer Evening Nature Series. An opportunity to learn more about nature and our environment.
On Wednesday July 6 8:30p ~ 9:30p learn about BATS! A Halyburton Park Naturalist will dispel some myths and teach you why they're good to have around!
Take a NIGHT HIKE on Wednesday July 20th 9:00p ~ 10:00p. Explore the park after dark and learn about the creatures who call it home.
Learn how a SHARK ATTACKS on Wednesday August 3rd 6:30p ~ 7:30p. Presented by the NC Aquarium this program will explain what makes sharks such skilled predators.
We love our turtles here in Southeastern NC and TURTLE TALES on August 24th 6:30p ~ 7:30p will tell you why. Learn about their behavior, feeding habits and more during this live animal presentation.
