My Facebook Business Page Became An Extension of My Website

Erica - Thank!  I agree and believe if we create an effective Facebook business page and use it right the business will flow and grow over time.

Beth - Thanks for commenting.  I really like your comment about "cross-marketing" and I hope people pick up on the concept.  

Christine - Thanks!  The new page has already made a difference and I haven't contacted any of my existing Facebook friends yet to try to grow it further beyond just a post on my personal Facebook wall.  I have a feeling we could add hundreds of fans with very little effort.

Diane - Actually I didn't know the forms could be made before Real Pro Systems did my upgrade.  I had a nice page before this upgrade but the new page pulls with the email home search and list my home forms pulls in a lot more "instant response" from the visitors.

Lyn - I obviously do not understand why you feel the way you do about Facebook but I respect your view and I also know you can do a lot of business without Facebook.  However, I personally view Facebook as one of the ultimate drip systems available.  We can't ignore the fact that millions of people are spending more than 60 minutes of their day on Facebook and for that reason I believe our industry simply can't ignore Facebook.

David - Great to see you on ActiveRain and I appreciate everything you have done and continue to do for the real estate industry!!!  I am BEYOND EXCITED about using your new consumer video site and the delivery method will be amazing.  I bet it saves me another 5 hours each week plus it will help better educate my clients at the same time.  I can't wait to share it with my clients.

Elizabeth - Thanks and I seriously appreciate your detailed comments because it gives all of us another view on Facebook plus reconfirms a view that I share which is that we really can't ignore Facebook.  

Jim - I agree!  I appreciate you mentioning meeting Facebook friends in IRL because it happens to me all the time.  I actually listed a house 3 weeks ago and the neighbor immediately friended me and then posted my website link on her Facebook wall because she wanted to attract one of her friends to become her neighbor.  The reach of Facebook is larger than most of us truly know.

Marte - The good news is that you really don't need to understand how to design this stuff if you are willing to hire a professional.  My custom Facebook Business Page was only $295 for a turn key upgrade so doing this isn't really expensive when you factor in the potential.

Gerard - Thanks!  Yeah, I have been one of those people that was getting driven crazy by the constant changes because the page width got changed and it messed up the look of my previous design.  Now that the dust has cleared with Facebook I admit that I am pleased with the new format.

John and Kasey - Thanks!  I agree that we all need to stay current on Facebook.  Today Facebook will be making a big announcement and the rumor is that they are going to integrate some features from Skype.
