Summer time is, for the most part, all fun and games! But you still gotta be safe out there! The Northern Liberties Townwatch is all about Summer Safety. That is why this week's Tip Jar is brought to you by the Northern Liberties Townwatch. Here are some of the tips they have for Northern Liberties neighbors and business owners, but they can be applied to any neighborhood and any business anywhere!
1. DETER - Display Townwatch Stickers and Flyers to let folks know to take precaution.
2. EXPOSE - Install outdoor cameras and signage.
3. LIGHT UP - Install outdoor lighting.
4. GO VIRAL - Use your online presence to re-post info from Townwatch sources.
5. GO HOME - Do not walk around late at night! Travel in groups and be aware of those around you.
6. GET HOOKED - Install hooks beneath bars and encourage your patrons to use them.
7. GIVE - Become an active member or make a donation!
