I am reblogging this post because it's been a challenging week in many ways, but today the sun came out and one of my offers was accepted on a commercial building in Pennsville.  All business people must remember to keep our eye on the prize, put our clients first.....and everything will work out in the end.

Thanks, Jon!  Great post....and a really GREAT photo!

Whether your plan is to become a world class cellist, the #1 Realtor in your city, or to build the first worldwide chain of espresso shops, when you first embark on your journey the path always includes some irrational and impossible steps. Don't let the fact that what you are planning to accomplish is logically impossible discourage you. A big dream is the first of four ingredients it takes to make magic.

Usually, a unique idea is what propels someone on a journey. But somewhere along the way you realize that maybe the idea isn't all that unique, and the reason that no one has done what you are seeking to do is that it is really hard and everyone else has quit along the way. Even though you always plan on it being harder than you expect, it is always 100 times harder than that. In order to make magic, having the will to succeed is the second ingredient. The first real glimpse of success only happens after every rational person would have already quit.

The third ingredient it takes to make magic is necessity, or put in another way, desperation. Magic rarely happens until all rational methods have been exhausted. Use absolutely every resource and method at your disposal to help make your dream a reality.

After you've dreamed the impossible dream and toiled for countless hours, you'll invariably find yourself at the end of the road – the edge of the cliff. Eschew discouragement and make magic by taking a leap of faith. Only by believing against all odds will you be able to make a dent in the universe and accomplish the unthinkable.

I agree Chris.  It's a remarkable photo.  This is a great post for this time of year.  We are half way through and for some folks that means it's time to reset goals and plan for a brighter future.  We've decided to take a leap of faith with a new lead generation strategy.  I've got high hopes.

Have a great holiday weekend!
