I'm nuts about nuts - a healthier alternative

On our recent vacation back to the Chicago area, the kids had this amazing snack and I'd thought I'd share it all with you.

Planters® has new mixes of nuts called NUT-rition®.  The two we like are the Omega 3 mix with walnuts, dried cranberries and dark chocolate covered soy nuts and the Heart Healthy Mix with peanuts, almonds, pistachios, pecans, walnuts and hazelnuts.  Get this - the heart healthy mix has only 50mg of sodium per serving (approximately 10 per can) but, I promise you, they taste just like their salted nut counterparts.

Planters® offers other varieties like bone health and digestive health and I plan on trying each and everyone of them!!!

I hope you'll try these - they are GREAT!!

AR, um, last place one would expect to learn about new nut products lol  I love nuts, though, and thinking I'm eating healthy makes it easier on my conscience. Thanks for the info.

This sounds much healthier than my fave Trail Mix.  I'll pick some up.  Thanks Juli!

Kerrie - they're less expensive at Kmart and Target than the grocery stores!!!  And, you can typically pull off a coupon on line for $1.50!!!!  Now we're talking healthy and cheap - two of my favorite words, LOL.

Dee, they're the least expensive at Target and Walmart - over $2.00 less than at the grocery stores, at least in our area.  Let me know how you like them.

Myrl, I was shocked to read the side panels of these treats - finally something healthy that doesn't taste like cardboard.  Let me know if you try them.
