WE DID IT! 200,000 Points And Going Strong!
We are very proud to announce that when I post this blog we will officially hit the 200,000 point mark here at Active Rain.
What a challenge it has been. Since January, we have been writing blogs almost daily (7 to 10 a week), commenting as much as we can (at least 10 daily), participating in contests and logging onto Active Rain every single day. Along the way we've met (online) so many wonderful folks who have taught us a lot and have been great support. Active Rain really is a community.
Meanwhile, our business is becoming more and more prominent online, as Active Rain helps us earn more and more "Google juice". The properties we market benefit as they are coming up in more searches and often on the first page.
We also feel we're offering a valuable service to locals, visitors and people considering a move to our area by giving them a glimpse into life in the Columbia River Gorge. We love living here and want to share it with the world.
Oh, and it's pretty exciting to watch those points climb!
We are not real estate agents so some times we feel a little on the periphery on AR, but it's been important to us to understand the real estate business better. Our company fills a unique niche in the industry. The simple fact is that some people will always want to sell their property themselves so we're here to customize a marketing plan for each property and provide a local, central marketplace for buyers to find them. Selling and buying property FSBO is not for everyone, but for those who want the option, we're here.
Upon reaching this big goal, we don't plan to rest and take a breath, but rather we're already outlining blogs for next week and noting what photos we need to take. We're going for 500,000 and feel confident we're on our way!
