Once again, the Makawao Rodeo jumps into action today at the Oskie Rice Arena on Olinda Road.  Makawao town is all decked out in red white and blue for the Fourth of July Parade on Saturday.  It's an annual event not to be missed, with festivities going on all weekend in this upcountry cowboy town.  The Maui Roping Club presents the Makawao Rodeo which will be attended by over 350 cowboys from all over the world!  Have a fun and safe holiday weekend!

Having gone to college on a swimming scholarship one of my daydreams has been to have my own pool.  Living in Boston and the months of cold suggests an indoor rather than an outdoor pool.  Maybe a move to your state would solve both these dreams.
