Agreed that 2011 hasn't measured up, and that every transaction takes forever--its gonna make me old! PS I like even years too.
Hard to believe isn't it. Lots of lisitngs in search of buyers! Off to find those buyers!
Wow! Hard to believe. The bummer for me (with 2 teenagers) is that summer is also flying by! Cannot believe that Independence Day is this weekend. I have a ton going on this summer, but made an appointment for early Sept to sit down with my broker to plan the fall and winter strategies I will employ. Great post.
Good morning, Richard. I was thinking the same thing yesterday. Time is fun when you are on the fly...
Richard, that past 6 months have been a blur....I have long days...and they are just not long enough to accomplish all that I want to do....
Good morning Richard,
It is official we are through second quarter and half way through 2011. I do think it depends on what part of the country you are in. You are right..transactions are taking longer to close but we are definitely ahead of last year and are exceeding our goals substantially! However it is not time to slack off but to keep our sleeves rolled up and pace ourselves for the finish line 6 months from now! Have a Happy July 4th week-end!
It just goes way too fast. Wish we could slow it down. Can't believe new listings will expire in 2012!
Good morning, Richard.....our sleeves need to be rolled up during the holiday.....we can multi task...but if the phone rings, someone will be at a listing appointment....
It's amazing how quickly time goes by, great reminder to take our days one by one and make each one as productive as possible through all areas of our life.
Richard, sorry the first half wasn't as good as you had hoped. Good luck for a stellar second half!
January and February were terrific, and we looked forward to a great year. Then someone turned off the faucet in March, April, and May. How June came through to rescue the year, I'll never know, but so far, it's looking good for the rest of the year (except September - yawn)
Unless we can resurrect a few deals we are way behind the 8 ball!
I was just having this conversation with my partner. Where did the time go? Today is my Grandson's 11 birthday. He was born in 2000!
Wishing everyone a great 4th and a wonderful and prosperous second half.
Good for you for making time for the holidays and some fun...I tend to not do that enough....gotta be balanced!
I've had a weak first half but the potential for the second half is incredible. I've got indivdual sales lined up that could match everything I sold last year so I'm excited.
Richard, I too, cannot believe the year is half over.. at least I will have closings.. everyone seemed to want to close end of July this year!
This is a great time to evaluate those goals, and business plans to take the appropriate action to meet those year end goals.
Good luck to you!
Hey, Richard!
I included this post in Last Week's Favorites.
Richard ~ now I thought that fact was going to just slip by me, but you had to bring that to my attention, now, didn't you?
Richard:
I agree with you. I have never has such a slow first half of the year. But the second promises to be much better.
