1. Go to this website www.eligibility.sc.egov.usda.gov
2. On the left hand sine of the homepage you will see Property Eligibility. Click on the Single Family house button and then click accept. On the next page you can fill out the address of the property you are looking to purchase. If the property IS eligible move on to step 3.
3. Go back to the homepage of USDA's website and under the Property Eligibility section is the Income Eligibility section. Click on Single family housing and then fill out your state and county. Then fill out the next few pages to see if your income meets the guidelines.
If your home and your income meet USDA's guidelines, you have made it through the first step to see if you can qualify for a Texas USDA Mortgage.
